Hello, I'm currently using WEXP to export DOORS Modules to Word. I'm facing a problem concerning OLE tables. If you make a book export only based of object heading and text to Word, the OLE tables will be converted to "normal" tables in Word. However, if you would like to put more information in a book export about an object (ID,Type, Source, Status,...) , the tables stay as OLE Object in the WORD Document.... Have you faced the same problem ? Is it known to you ?

Re: WEXP : Failure to convert OLE tables to inline data As far as I remember there is a WEXP_OLE_INLINE attribute (or something like this), that controls if WEXP will inline OLE objects. The inlining however only happens with OLE objects that are embedded in the object text. If you use a template based export, this might not work, but otherwise you should be able to put as many other columns in your export view without disturbing the OLE inline. Regards, Mathias |
